Al Arjat I Prison Administration Denies False Information on Health of Prisoner M.Z.

In a clarification in response to false, ill-intentioned information disseminated by some electronic media about the state of health of this prisoner who is serving his sentence in the local prison Al Arjat 1 in Sale, including an electronic site used to peddle lies about the General Delegation of the Prison Administration and Rehabilitation (DGAPR) and its officials, the administration of the institution assures that the above-mentioned prisoner benefits from a continuous medical monitoring by the medical staff of the institution, as well as all other residents, and moreover, takes into account his age.

The same source notes that the false information peddled on his health are a poor and futile attempt to mislead public opinion and to attract his empathy lamentably by displaying a posture of victimhood, in order to put pressure on justice and to evade its full responsibility for crimes for which he was prosecuted and tried.

In this clarification received Wednesday at MAP to enlighten public opinion, the administration of the local prison Al Arjat 1 in Salé provides details that meals are served in a normal way to this prisoner according to the diet prescribed by the doctor of the penitentiary, ensuring that the prison administration has received no notice of the start of a hunger strike or the refusal of the prisoner to take his meals, knowing that he ate the last meal that was served without leaving crumbs.

The same source adds that the administration of the prison, in coordination with the caterer responsible for feeding prisoners, proceeded to the grinding of his meals to facilitate their digestion, in addition to the taking of medication against constipation which he was recently a victim and this, in support of a prescription issued by the doctor of this prison. In addition, the prisoner in question has never declared or presented a document that can prove that he suffers from one of the alleged chronic diseases, we note from the same source.

Regarding the allegations of suffering endured by the prisoner in question because of the cold, the administration of the prison ensures that it has delivered blankets, in addition to those brought to him by his family, indicating that this prisoner has 24 hours a day of hot water via the tap installed in his cell, and also heated drinking water after the purchase of bottles from the commissary of the institution.
