During a meeting held in Rabat with minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, Sakr congratulated the five Moroccan industrial companies that won the Arab Quality Award in its second edition, handed by AIDSMO on March 20, 2021, in Saudi Arabia, on the occasion of the celebration of the Arab day of standardization, the Arab organizatiokn said in a statement.
The director of the organization pointed out this quality award, won by Moroccan companies, reflects the position that some industrial sectors Moroccan now occupy at the global level, the statement read.
In addition, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen and further promote relations of cooperation, as well as issues of common interest.
This meeting was also an opportunity to present to Mezzour explanations about the first digital platform of industrial and mining Arab offers (http://apip.online), which was officially launched last January in Riyadh, on the occasion of the 8th Consultative Meeting of Arab Mineral Resources Ministers.
In this regard, Sakr noted that this platform is part of the efforts undertaken by his organization to follow global trends in digital transformation, and open channels of communication between the production structures in various sectors with the aim of strengthening the Arab industrial and mining integration.
