In a statement to MAP, Dr. Mahmoud Habbash welcomed the efforts made by the Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency to strengthen and consolidate the right and presence of Palestinians in the Holy City, subjected to attempts at Judaization by the Israeli occupation.
The Palestinian official highly praised the role played by the Al Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty the King, in serving the cause of Al Quds, supporting the resistance of the inhabitants of the Holy City and preserving its civilizational, human, historical and religious character.
“The Al Quds Committee plays an important and effective role in this regard,” he noted, emphasizing the expectations of the Al Quds inhabitants and Palestinians of the Committee and its Chairman, His Majesty the King, especially in this circumstance where the Holy City and Al-Aqsa Mosque are facing attacks by Israeli extremists to annihilate and transform the characteristics of Al-Aqsa.
In this context, he called for action at different levels to support the cause of Al-Quds and to intensify international support to support the resistance of the Al Quds inhabitants and preserve the civilizational and historical character of the city.
