The Mexican delegation includes Omar Cepeda, journalist and presenter on the channel “Canal once” and columnist of the newspaper “El Financiero”, specializing in finance, economics, business and politics, and Leticia Carbajal Arellano, journalist and presenter on the same channel.

The delegation learned about the work of the agency and its role at the regional level, through a network of correspondents in the country and abroad.

The delegation was also informed of the evolution achieved by MAP over the past ten years, especially in terms of digital transformation, which has enabled it to accompany the technological boom that the world is currently experiencing.

It also inquired about the experience of the agency in the audiovisual field through the TV channel of continuous information “M24” and the Moroccan news radio “Rim Radio”.

The agency’s editorial staff discussed with the Mexican delegation ways to strengthen cooperation between the agency and the channel “Canal once”, following the policy of openness to which the agency is committed in recent years.

The journalist Carbajal Arellano welcomed, during this meeting, the cooperation between the channel “Canal once” and the Moroccan Embassy in Mexico, recalling in this regard the partnership agreement signed recently by both parties to produce programs that highlight the culture of both countries and their similarities to strengthen cultural exchanges.

In the same context, Omar Cepeda stressed that this agreement includes the coverage by the channel of the activities of the embassy and the realization of reports in Morocco to promote the tourism and cultural potential of the Kingdom, expressing, in this regard, the willingness of the Mexican side to benefit from MAP products.

At the end of this meeting, the Mexican delegation visited the various editorial departments of MAP as well as “M24” channel and “Rim Radio” headquarters.
