Banwa: The National Council for Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation (CONASUR) donated food to internally displaced persons in the commune of Kouka, located 42 km from Solenzo, on August 20 and 21, 2025, within the town hall. Internally displaced persons received 11 tons of corn, 14 tons of rice, 7 tons of corn flour, 14 boxes of sardines, and 16 boxes of sugar from CONASUR.
According to Burkina Information Agency, a total of 500 households received these supplies. Some received rice and rice flour along with a few cans of sardines, while others received corn, a few cans of sardines, and sugar.
This donation was made in the presence of the agents in charge of the Solenzo Humanitarian Action and the staff of the special delegation of the commune of Kouka. The PDS of Kouka, Raymond Ilboudo, congratulated the efforts of CONASUR for this donation to the internally displaced persons of his commune, especially during this lean month.
