Faso Mêbo Initiative Bolstered by 17 Tons of Cement Donation from Institutional Leaders


Ouagadougou: Presidents of seven institutions in Burkina Faso have donated 17 tons of cement to support the Faso Mêbo initiative, a presidential project aimed at enhancing the living conditions of the population. This collective contribution was announced on Thursday as part of efforts to advance national development goals.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Dr. Paco Sérémé, President of the National Academy of Arts and Letters of Burkina Faso (ANALBF), expressed his appreciation for the initiative. He noted that the program should have been initiated earlier and emphasized the importance of institutional involvement in national projects. Dr. Sérémé stated that the Academy is committed to setting a precedent by actively supporting development initiatives and that such involvement could inspire other stakeholders to prioritize the national interest.

The donation was a collaborative effort among several institutions, including the Higher Council for Communication (CSC), the Commission for Information Te
chnology and Civil Liberties (CIL), the Constitutional Council (CC), the National Coordination of AES Actions (CN-AES), the National Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters of Burkina Faso (ANSAL-BF), the Higher Authority for State Control and the Fight against Corruption (ASCE/LC), and the Higher Council of the Judiciary (CSM).
