The Higher Council of Communication has decided to withdraw the five frequencies of Radio France Internationale in Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso, Koudougou, Banfora and Ouahigouya, AIB learned.
Note that the Burkinabe government has suspended the French media since December 2022, following broadcasts that advocated terrorism and undermined social cohesion.
