The provincial coordination of support for the Ioba transition handed over the sum of 2,176,700 CFA francs to the high commissioner of the province, Bernadette Adenyo/Sermé, for the patriotic support fund, the Saturday July 27, 2024 after a march in Dano.
This march/meeting in support of the transition, the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the volunteers for the defense of the homeland (VDP) is the second of its kind organized by the provincial coordination of Ioba in Dano.
Once again, many people came out to reaffirm their commitment to supporting the transition and the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré.
They walked from Dano town hall to reach the Dano high commission via the gendarmerie.
With signs and flags of Burkina, Niger, Mali and Russia in hand, the marchers chanted slogans of encouragement to the transition, to the FDS and VDP for their determination to bring peace throughout Faso.
They were received by the high commissioner of the Ioba province, Bernadette Adenyo/Sermé, accompanied by
the secretary general of the province, André Lankoandé, the prefect, PDS of the commune of Dano, Denis Zanré, and the FDS.
The members of the coordination gave the first official of the province the sum of 2,176,700 CFA francs as a contribution to the patriotic support fund.
In unison, the public sang the national anthem Ditanyè, marking the start of the interventions.
The provincial transition support coordinator, Aristide Youorikiè Dabiré, welcomed the constant mobilization of the populations of Dano and their solidarity in favor of the FDS and VDP.
‘The objective of this march is to once again demonstrate the unwavering support of the populations of Ioba for the transition for the virtuous leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traoré for the next five years,’ declared Aristide Youorikiè Dabiré.
In addition, he adds that today’s rally allows them to express their pride in the FDS and VDP for the enormous sacrifices they make day and night as part of the reconquest of the entire national territory.
Mr. Dabiré
calls for a new constitution in which the aspirations of the people will be taken into account.
The provincial coordinator affirmed their support for the creation of the confederation of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).
He congratulated the FDS and VDP of the province for their commitment to maintaining serenity and peace in Ioba.
Aristide Dabiré expressed a complaint for the opening of police or gendarmerie stations in certain municipalities in the province of Ioba.
He thanked all the active forces of Ioba for their solidarity and their contribution to the organization of this demonstration of support for the transition, the FDS and VDP.
The High Commissioner thanked the populations for having given the government a hand of association in this fight it is waging against the terrorist hydra.
In this fight, each Burkinabè has their role to play in the reconquest of the national territory, she declared.
‘Last year, you gave your support and this year again you are giving this invaluable contribution t
o the return of peace and security to our country,’ continued Ms. Adenyo.
For her, the chain of support around the transition that the President of Faso spoke about must never be broken until the terrorist hydra is defeated.
She urges people to ensure that their actions are not problems to be resolved by the transition, but on the contrary, that they are solutions in this liberating fight.
She thanked the populations and nationals of the Ioba province for responding to the call of the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré.
Cheikh Bassirou Guira indicates that each citizen must be a fighter in their own way. The president of the provincial council of elderly people of Ioba, Dindomè Albert Somé (bonnet), affirms that the elderly firmly support Captain Ibrahim Traoré and his team.
A blood donation session is organized by the provincial transition support coordination of Ioba, on Sunday July 28, 2024 at the Dano Women’s Museum.
