While staying in her hometown, Gaoua, the artist Da Yeri, winner of the Kundé de l’spérance 2024, visited the RTB2/Sud-Ouest offices on Monday, July 22, 2024 to present her trophy to journalists in Gaoua.
She took the opportunity to thank the entire population for the multifaceted support that earned her this distinction at the national level.
“I give thanks to God. When you do work that is rewarded, it gives pleasure and strength. I am very happy,” she said, while thanking her community and journalists for their support.
To keep the bar high, Da Yeri, real name Yeri Angèle Da, intends to work hard and is planning a tour in the South West region to make herself better known.
The Kundé de l’spérance prize is a major challenge for the artist who hopes, with the support of his music lovers, to climb the ladder to reach the top.
To establish him
self in his home region and then abroad, his manager, Adama Cissé, plans strategies to support the artist in order to prepare him for a better future.
‘The artist is from the region, it is important to make himself known to his people. We cannot do anything without involving the South-West,’ he said.
