Placed under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI and organized by the Grand Atlas Association in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool Learning and Sports, the Wilaya of the Marrakech-Safi region, the urban municipality of Marrakech, the urban municipality of Mechouar Kasbah and the Prefectural Council of Marrakech, this prestigious international Marathon undoubtedly contributes to the influence and promotion of tourism in the ochre city and its region.
According to the organizers, “the Edenic city of Marrakech offers an exceptional setting, a climate often mild in the middle of May and a beautiful circuit considered among the fastest international Marathons, along the alleys of palm trees, orange and olive trees, but also the city walls”.
“In the continuity, but also in the change, the Marrakech International Marathon, not only aims to regain the place it once occupied in the list of prestigious international Marathons, but even more, become the unavoidable international meeting of all the stars of this beautiful sport,” say the organizers.
