West Africa : AfDB invests $102.79 million in sustainable agricultural value chains


The Board of the African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved $102.79 million in funding for the Multinational Program for Promoting Sustainable Agricultural Value Chains in Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ) in Guinea, Senegal, and Togo. This program aims to integrate climate change adaptation and greenhouse gas emission reductions into three key projects. It will directly benefit over one million farmers, with a focus on women and climate-resilient agricultural technologies.
