The closing ceremony of this 14th edition, placed under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, was held in the presence of president of Cape Verde, Jose Maria Pereira Neves, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne, and Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Younes Sekkouri.

In a statement to MAP TV channel M24 at the end of the closing ceremony, chairman of the Amadeus Institute, Brahim Fassi-Fihri, welcomed the success of this 14th edition which was marked by “intense” debates during 50 sessions and roundtable meetings led by more than 250 renowned international officials, including Heads of State and Government, ministers, heads of international organizations, business leaders, investors and many personalities from over 100 countries.

“After four days of intense debates and the participation of leading international personalities, I can only be pleased with the general outcome of this 14th edition and note that today, the MEDays Forum is a flagship event in the international agenda of major conferences,” he said.

“Morocco is a land of debate, a land of dialogue, driven by the multiple visions of HM King Mohammed VI, on a number of issues,” said Fassi-Fihri.

The Kingdom, he added, is “a land that naturally attracts policy makers of different origins to come here in Morocco to discuss in serenity, these multiple crises that surround us, in an international context that is obviously extremely shaken”.

“I think it was important to bring together, here in Tangier, these personalities on these various topics, including African ones, to again, send a signal that Africa wants to be united, sovereign and independent on a number of issues,” said Fassi-Fihri.
