On this occasion, Tamek said that the Delegation ensures the anchoring of a human rights approach in prisons, emphasizing the right to complain and paying particular attention to training and awareness raising on human rights and prevention of torture.
This celebration comes to pay tribute to the efforts of the prison administration staff, to highlight the achievements and to reflect on future prospects for more professionalism in prison management, Tamek said.
As part of the Delegation’s efforts to modernize its administration, the Delegate General highlighted the importance integrated information system generalization and biometric technology implementation, in addition to the development of electronic services for users.
On a different note, Tamek highlighted the development of a new 2022-2026 strategy plan engaging in structuring projects to achieve a qualitative leap in management methods., recalling DGAPR’s programming of new activities in the field of education and rehabilitation.
