National days of patriotic commitment: The populations of the rural commune of Zecco adhere to the process


The populations of the rural commune of Zecco, a locality located around fifty km east of Pô and on the border with Ghana, organized a health day in public services and places on April 8, 2024. , as part of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation.

The populations, heads of departmental services, defense and security forces, customary and religious authorities, volunteers for the defense of the homeland of Zecco mobilized this April 8, 2024 for a day of sanitation at the prefecture, customs, the police station , the Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) and the Zecco municipal market.

Using machetes, rakes and brooms, they cleaned up these public places in order to allow agents and traders to work or exercise in a healthy environment.

The prefect, president of the special delegation of the commune of Zecco, Etienne Sanglan, while indicating that this day is part of the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation, thanked the active forces for these patriot
ic acts.

At the same time, he invited the populations to develop during these days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation the spirit of solidarity, to live it together and to make their living environment healthy.

Sanglan also invited everyone in their religious faith to pray and bless the fighting forces engaged in the reconquest of the national territory.

‘Each of us must prove our belonging to this dear homeland by taking noble actions and raising awareness around us of the interest in defending this homeland to the point of supreme sacrifice,’ concluded Mr. Sanglan.
