NAMIBIA TO HOST AFRICAN CONFERENCE ON SOLIDARITY WITH CUBA

LUANDA, A meeting on solidarity with Cuba will be held on 5 – 7 July in Windhoek, Namibia, in an initiative of friendly institutions of this Caribbean country.

This was announced by the Cuban ambassador to Angola, Gizela Garcia Rivera, and by head of the Angola and Cuba Friendship Association, Fernando Jaime.

On the occasion, the Cuban diplomat highlighted the importance of the friends of her country to getting together in the struggle for the objectives of the political process of this country.

The event is focused on the appeal to put an end to the more than 50-year old embargo against island.
