Namentenga/Ramadan: Blessings and tributes to the Fighting Forces

The Muslims of Namentenga celebrated the feast of Ramadan on April 10, 2024 in Boulsa with a prayer through which the president of the Muslim community, El Hadj Karim Kormodo, the great Imam Mahamadi Ilboudo, and the High Commissioner of the province, Conseiga Issaka, notably made blessings and wishes for a free and peaceful Burkina Faso.

It is the square in sector 5 which hosted the ceremony marking the Ramadan festival.

After a short prayer, the reading of the Koran, a sermon and a dua followed.

To this end, it will be noted that each speaker, as far as they are concerned, paid great tribute to all those who, during the 30 days of fasting, provided them with support of all kinds for the successful completion of the fast.

They wished that God gives victory to the Fighting Forces over the terrorists.

The importance of Ramadan and almsgiving was noted.

The newly elected president of the Muslim community of Namentenga focused on the government’s efforts to reconquer the country. Anything which, according
to him, allowed them to gather to pray and live in peace with the effective presence of the fighting forces at their side.

High Commissioner Conseiga Adama congratulated Muslims for the successful conduct of the month of penance and prayed to the Almighty to answer the prayers and guide the steps of our highest authorities in stability and towards peace in our country.

He paid vibrant tribute to the fighting forces who, brilliantly, are carrying out titanic work on the ground. He also congratulated the many resettled villages and expressed the hope that the mercy of this month could appease and bring total peace to Burkina.
