Nahouri/Ramadan 2024: The Muslim community prays for a return of peace to Burkina Faso


The 2nd vice imam of Pô, El hadj Hamadou Tiétiembou officiated the Eid El Fitr prayer prayer marking the end of the fast, on April 10, 2024 in Pô. They prayed for the return of peace to Burkina Faso, blessed the transitional authorities and the fighting forces engaged in the reconquest of the national territory.

The Muslim community of Nahouri, like other localities in Burkina, celebrated the feast of Eid El Fitr on April 10, 2024 in Pô, marking the end of the fast.

The provincial authorities led by the High Commissioner of the province of Nahouri, Auguste Kinda, the Catholic and Protestant communities attended this great prayer at Place Némaro de Pô, to support the Muslims of Nahouri.

The High Commissioner invited the different communities to combine their prayers and their actions for a return to peace, social cohesion in Burkina Faso and living together.
