Morocco Reports 150 New COVID-19 Cases over Past 24 Hours

A total of 24,915,165 people have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while the number of fully vaccinated people (1st and 2nd doses) has reached 23,414,936, the ministry pointed out in its daily COVID-19 bulletin, noting that 6,857,056 people have received the third dose of the vaccine, while 55,994 people have received the fourth dose.

 

According to the same source, the number of COVID-19 cases reported since the start of the outbreak of the virus rose to 1,267,966, while recoveries increased to 1,250,549, i.e. a recovery rate of 98.7%.

 

The new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (51), Casablanca-Settat (47), Marrakech-Safi (15), Fez-Meknes (13), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (10), Souss-Massa (6), Guelmim-Oued Noun (4), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (2), Draa-Tafilalet (1) and Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (1).

 

As for coronavirus-related fatalities, their number remained at 16,283, with zero cases recorded in the last 24 hours.

 

The number of active cases stands at 1.134, with two severe or critical cases recorded in the last 24 hours.
