The Muslim faithful celebrated on Wednesday April 10, 2024, the festival of Ramadan marking the end of a month of fasting in Sindou, under the sign of resilience. Local authorities and Christian faithful came to support the great prayer.
The place intended for the great prayer of the Muslim community in Sindou hosted the great prayer of Eid el-fitr, on Wednesday April 10, 2024, under a light rain.
The administrative, religious, military and paramilitary communities marked their presence to support their Muslim brothers.
Placed under the sign of resilience, the Muslim faithful prayed and implored God for the return of peace, social cohesion and living together in Burkina Faso.
‘If we are here despite the rain, it is in the name of the High Commissioner and the government, to show our solidarity and our desire to promote social cohesion and living together for our dear homeland,’ underlined the Secretary General from the province of Léraba, Yéonviel Somé, representing the High Commissioner of the province.
