Ioba: CEB Dano staff reforest their estate

The staff of the Dano Basic Education District (CEB) re-greened their area on Monday, September 2, 2024 by planting trees.

The CEB staff of Dano have cut down about twenty trees in the courtyard of their department. Three species of trees composed of baobab, acacia and cailcédrat have been planted.

These trees were donated by the provincial directorate of preschool, primary and non-formal education (DPEPPNF) of Ioba.

According to the head of the CEB of Dano, Tibouo-ion Romaric Somé, this reforestation is part of the policy “one institution, one grove” decided during the 2024 tree day.

It is with this in mind that the High Commissioner of the province of Ioba made these plants available to the DPEPPNF to re-green our service, indicated the CCEB of Dano.

Mr. Somé urged each internal department of the CEB to appropriate at least two trees in order to maintain and protect them.

“The main thing is not to plant, but to plant and maintain,” he added.

The CCEB welcomed the effective participation of the agent
s in this tree planting.
