CMF hosts 21st annual conference of Francophone Institute of Financial Regulation

The Financial Market Council (CMF), the regulatory authority of the Tunisian capital market, is hosting on May 31- June 2 the 21st Annual Conference of the Francophone Institute of Financial Regulation (French: IFREFI).

An international symposium on the “Quality of Financial Information: Challenges for Companies, Need for Investors,” will be organised on the sidelines of this meeting on May 31.

The event will be attended by the president of the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and several Tunisian and international experts.

The organisation of the event is an acknowledgement of the progress made by the Tunisian financial market in connection to the regulatory and supervisory framework.

The IFREFI is a major international organisation which plays a key role in fostering cooperation between financial market regulatory authorities in the Francophone area.
