Kombissiri: The provincial directorate of preschool, primary and non-formal education of Bazèga rewarded around forty winners on the occasion of the 2023 School Excellence Day held on Wednesday February 28, 2024 in Kombissiri .
The provincial directorate of primary and non-formal preschool education (DPEPPNF) of Bazèga organized last Wednesday, February 28, the day of academic excellence.
Postponed due to calendar constraints, this day of awards for excellence, 2023 edition is placed under the theme: ‘Roles and responsibilities of stakeholders in improving educational results in the province of Bazèga’.
Nearly forty winners of students, structures and educational stakeholders in preschool, non-formal education and primary education saw their efforts rewarded.
According to the provincial director of preschool, primary and non-formal education of Bazèga, Claude Ouédraogo, the ceremony of excellence which constitutes a powerful means of emulation, marks the consecration of the efforts of teachers and student
s who have distinguished themselves by their love for a job well done.
On this occasion, he congratulated the winners and encouraged them to stay the course. To other students and teachers in the province, he invited them to follow suit to be among the best in the years to come.
The prizes awarded consist of educational kits, sound equipment, bicycles, computers and mobile phones, loincloths, school bags, furniture and office supplies.
In addition to these awards, there are letters of congratulations for educational actors. The ceremony which recorded the presence of the educational world and the active forces of the province, was chaired by the Secretary General of the Wossolème province Clarisse Denni.
As a reminder, the province of Bazèga recorded a success rate of 76.73% in the primary education certificate for the 2022-2023 school year.
